Practice Principal - Dr Sandeep Patel

BDS

Sandeep graduated from Sheffield University in 1990 where he gained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree and is currently the Practice Principal and Registered Manager at ConfiDental Clinic, Greenwich.

He began his General Dental career in Ladbroke Grove and Queens Park working at an NHS and Private practice before, in 1997 opening his own Dental Practice based in Vanbrugh Hill, Greenwich which has since been relocated to 3 Hazel Lane and is now know as ConfiDental Clinic.

Sandeep enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has particular interest in complex multidisciplinary cases involving Aesthetic Dentistry and Dental Implants.

He also carries out all aspects of General Dentistry and regularly attends continued professional development lectures and courses to keep up to date with modern techniques. Sandeep always ensures an empathetic manner and high quality of care to his patients. Sandeep has completed the highly regarded SAAD (Sedation Anxiety and Analgesia in Dentistry) national sedation course for sedation of nervous patients.

Dr Anum Chaudhary

BDS, MSc, RCSEd

Anum qualified from Bart’s and the London in 2013 and after completing her training in Colchester, has been working in General dental practice in both the east and south east of London.

Anum continues to strive for excellence and has a passion for improving her knowledge and keeping up with the current techniques. Currently, Anum is studying towards her Post-Graduate Certificate in Dental Law and Ethics and is also completing her Implant residency programme. Anum is also a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Anum especially likes treating anxious patients as she believes that there is always an underlying reason where the fear of dentists stems from. Her relaxing nature will make you feel at ease and make you wonder why you didn’t come to see us sooner!

Outside of dentistry, Anum loves photography, travelling and reading.

Dr Lynn Hutchinson

BDS, MJDF RCS

Originally from Belfast, Lynn qualified from Newcastle University in 2001.  She qualified with merit in clinical dentistry and has since successfully completed her post-graduate MJDF RCS(Eng) exams.

Lynn has previously worked in general practice in County Durham, East London and Kent as well as at Kings College Dental Institute as a Senior House Officer before joining ConfiDental Clinic Greenwich. She enjoys restorative dentistry, oral surgery, Invisalign and getting to know her patients.

Dr Adam Bzeu

BChD

Adam qualified from the University of Leeds in 2015 with merit and awards in restorative dentistry, paediatric dentistry and overall most distinguishable student of the year.

He gained his early professional experience in general practice in Bristol, before moving to London and undertaking hospital posts in restorative dentistry, oral surgery and maxillofacial surgery. During this time he developed invaluable surgical experience and skills, completing his Royal College of Surgeons examinations.
In 2018 Adam took up his current part time post with Confidental, where he provides general dentistry and oral surgery. He also holds a part time hospital specialty dentist post in Oral surgery. He is interested in the management of troublesome wisdom teeth as well as cosmetic dentistry, in particular composite material.

He is also currently studying Implant Placement.

Outside dentistry he is a sport and fitness enthusiast; climbing, road cycling, football and running.

Dr Selina Tang

BDS

Selina qualified from King’s College London; one of the leading dental schools in the world. After completing her dental foundation training in Notting Hill, she undertook two years of further training at both Guy’s Hospital and Bristol Dental Hospital working in restorative dentistry, oral medicine and oral and maxillofacial surgery. This provided her with invaluable surgical skills as well as teaching her the importance of holistic care. She now works in NHS and private practice as well as Guy’s Hospital’s oral surgery department.

Selina is an enthusiastic and devoted dentist whose top priority is to provide her patients with the highest standard of dental care at all times. She is especially empathetic to nervous patients and is committed to making people feel at ease during appointments and ensuring that everyone leaves her surgery smiling.

Selina enjoys working in general dental practice and her artistic nature and attention to detail fuels her interests in a wide range of dental specialties including restorative and aesthetic dentistry and endodontics. Always striving to improve and develop as a clinician, she is currently enrolled in a one-year cosmetic and aesthetic restorative dentistry course.  Selina has also completed her postgraduate MJDF examinations at the Royal College of Surgeons England.

Outside of dentistry, Selina enjoys travelling and exploring new places, and meeting up and enjoying good food with friends.

Dr Zahra Ahmed

BDS

Dr Zahra Ahmed qualified from Kings College London dental institute in 2011 with a Honours and Distinction. She spent her subsequent years both in general practice and in hospital posts within a specialist environment. Zahra strives to keep up to date with all the ongoing developments in dentistry to provide modern and relevant treatments for her patients. Since qualifying, she went on to complete part 1 of the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons. She has also recently completed her Masters in Aesthetic and restorative dentistry and has developed a passion and special interest in facial aesthetics.

Zahra always aims to listen to her patients in a calm and friendly manner, approaching their dental needs in a way which involves improving their dental health and appearance in a minimally invasive way. She particularly likes treating nervous patients to help put them at ease and also treating children.

Outside of dentistry Zahra loves travelling, tennis, baking, knitting and socialising with friends. Zahra is very much looking forward to meeting you.

Dr Payal Patel

BDS

Payal is a dentist with over 10 years of general practice experience at Confidental Clinic. She graduated from Guy’s Hospital with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree and has been published in the European Dental Journal for her research in Periodontology. 

Payal is also currently studying for a Masters in Clinical Endodontolgy.  She has a passion for general dentistry and has completed a number of cosmetic dental courses.

Payal offers a wide range of treatments from Cosmetic Dentistry, Orthodontics, Teeth Whitening and Facial treatments including Wrinkle Reductions and Dermal Filler.

Payal is a mother of two, so what little spare time she has she spends with them swimming and playing sports.

Holly Gale

Dip DH RCS (Eng) - Dental Hygienist

Holly qualified as a dental nurse in 2014, working in general practice before following her passion for Dental Hygiene. Holly graduated from the Eastman Dental Hospital with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2016.

Throughout her training, Holly has treated a variety of patients including, children, those with complex medical histories, anxious patients and advanced periodontal disease (gum disease). Holly enjoys building professional relationships with her patients and loves all aspects of her role, finding it incredibly rewarding to see improvements in her patient's oral health.

In her spare time she enjoys social activities, meeting friends and going to the theatre. She grew up in a small countryside town in Southwest Dorset, where she often goes to visit her family and boxer dog puppy, Bentley

Lauren O'Connor

Foundation Degree in Oral Health Science, National Diploma in Dental Nursing NEBDN - Dental Hygienist

Lauren has worked as a Dental Hygienist in a variety of clinical settings including private surgeries and hospitals across London and Essex. She is passionate about giving excellent, gentle treatments and helping patients achieve great oral health. She enjoys other aspects of dentistry too, including providing Zoom whitening treatments and airjet stain removal. Laurens started her career as a dental nurse back in 2012, but realised her passion was in treatments rather than assisting, so instead went back to university and completed a full time degree in Oral Health Science at the University of Essex. Lauren recently won Highly Commended, Best Team Member at the Dentistry Awards 2019.

Most of Laurens spare time is spent with her cavalier king charles spaniel 'Lady'
