Inman Aligner
Have you developed overcrowding or rotations at the front of your teeth? If so, at our Greenwich practice we offer a quick and simple solution to this problem– Inman Aligners. Inman Aligners have been used to treat patients since 2000 and more and more patients are continuing to have this cost effective treatment.
What are Inman Aligners?
An Inman Aligner is a removable brace used to straighten your top and bottom front teeth. Due to the gentle pressure of the Inman Aligner applied to move the teeth, your treatment will remain comfortable.
They can be used to improve:
- Overcrowding
- Gaps
- Rotation
- Cross bite problems
- Teeth that stick out
- Teeth that are tipped
For best results, we recommend that you wear the brace for 16-20 hours a day. The Inman aligner may slightly affect your speech for up to 1-2 weeks. To ensure that your teeth remain in the same position, either a fixed or removable retainer could be worn.
What are the advantages of using Inman Aligners?
- They straighten your teeth within a short period of time (8-16 weeks treatment time)
- They are easily inserted and removed so a good level of oral health can be maintained
- They are a cheaper alternative to invisible braces
- More severe cases can be finished with invisible clear aligners after treatment
Are they any alternatives?
